A few years ago I had an opportunity to paint in the NWT and Nunavut. This ptg trip par exceeded my expectations, our Canadian North is a true hidden gem. Every night, the Northern lights were spectacular with their colours and dance movements. It was unique listening to the sounds they made, a very soft tinkling. This small study is part of a series I have started of our Aurora Borealis.
