This is the second piece in this new series. Custom hand dyed fabric designed by the artist has had rust pigmentation applied. The rust pigmentation is created with copper wire and steel wool. The piece is heavily hand stitched in a circular format similar to the first piece in this series. It has an irregular finish on the bottom edge as shown in the image. This art quilt is designed to be hung in either a vertical or horizontal orientation which makes it a very versatile piece to be easily paired with other artwork into a collage type display.
