The Quabbin Art Association presents: “Art Meets Poetry”, a celebration of National Poetry Month – 2022. Six pieces of fine art donated by members of the Quabbin Art Association will be on display at the Clapp Memorial Library throughout the month of April.
Poets and writers are invited to view the artwork and compose a poem in response to a selected piece of art. Poetry must be submitted to the library by Noon, April 30th. Belchertown artist Anna Jacke, has donated a plein air watercolor painting named Monarch & Thistles.
Winning Entries: Each artist will read and select a poem that best resonates with their artwork. Winning poets will be notified by May 6th. Artists will award their prize artwork to the winners at the Quabbin Art Association meeting on May 19, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. located at the St. Francis Parish Center, 12 Park Street in Belchertown.
