Aged Psychedelic #6 continues my exploration of using the geared drawing tool, Wild Gears, for designing my hand stitched designs directly onto the artwork. The airbrush paint colorations feature some olive green, yellow, grey, and blue. Up close inspection reveals delicate changes in color in the marbled ground. The hand stitched design highlights the marbled background in this piece and enhances the feeling of fireworks when viewed in different orientations.
The detail image of the back of the artwork shows the extensive stitching at its best. A close-up image of the front of the work shows the delicate mix of muted color and hue from the marbling and the shadow play created by the stitching. Here is an in-situ image of the artwork. Once again, the artwork is designed to be displayed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation which allows for versatility in displaying the artwork alone or in conjunction with other pieces in the series.
One-of-a-kind original textile artwork signed and dated by the artist. Included with the artwork is a Certificate of Authenticity, Care Instructions, and display slats. Installation simply requires two (2) nails or wall screws.
Artwork is carefully rolled, packed in heavy cardboard container, and shipped directly from the artist’s studio. Available immediately unless on exhibit.
