Aged Psychedelic #3 continues my exploration of using the geared drawing tool, Wild Gears, for designing my hand stitched designs directly on the artwork. The colorations are visually bold in this artwork with bright orange and yellow, highlighted by a splash of vibrant red and a few streaks of turquoise. The dense hand stitching recedes into the background of this piece.
The detail image of the back of the artwork shows the extensive stitching at its best. A close-up image of the front of the work shows the delicate mix of muted color and hue from the marbling and the shadow play created by the stitching. The artwork is designed to be displayed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation which gives the work a new appearance with each change in display.
One-of-a-kind original textile artwork signed and dated by the artist. Included with the artwork is a Certificate of Authenticity, Care Instructions, and display slats. Installation simply requires two (2) nails or wall screws.
Artwork is carefully rolled, packed in heavy cardboard container, and shipped directly from the artist’s studio. Available immediately unless on exhibit.
