Abstract Textures 1.3 is the third piece in an ongoing series of textile artworks that features whole cloth construction. The piece is hand painted by the artist using dyes and then is heavily hand quilted in an undulating design. The stitching gives the piece a visual flow and movement as well as a physical texture. This artwork is designed to hang in either a vertical or horizontal format which allows for great freedom in changing the display of the piece easily as well as the appearance.
